- アルジェリア北部ボルジ・ブ・アレリジのモスク（イスラム教の礼拝堂）で、ラマダン（断食月）の礼拝にネコが迷い込んだ。
ワリド・メフサス師が夜の礼拝をライブ配信していたところ、ネコがメフサス師に正面から飛びついた。
メフサス師が祈りを続けながらネコを支えるようにすると、ネコはそのまま肩までよじ登り、しっぽや顔をメフサス師にすり寄せていた。

なんかここのコメント欄「猫はイスラムではなんだかんだで犬やったらどうなってたんだろうな」とか悲しくなる書き込みが多いので、自分ムスリムとして一つ言わせてもらいますね。
イスラムで犬は嫌われてませんし、特別猫が親しまれてるわけでもありません。
ただ、犬は噛まれたり舐められたりすると感染病になる確率が高いので接触を控えるようにと教えられてるだけです。
むしろ「砂漠の中で飢えた犬に水を与えた事で天国に行った人がいる」や「猫を水もなく食料もない場所に閉じ込めた人がそれで地獄に落とされた」など、預言者ムハンマド様は犬にも猫にもどの動物にも優しく接する事を教えていましたよ。
イスラムはここのコメント欄で言われてる様な酷い宗教じゃないです。
